City & Guilds 2377-22 – Level 3 Award in the In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment (PAT)

Duration:           2 Days (8.30am/4.30pm); up to 6 people

  • Understanding the statutory and non-statutory requirements relevant to the management of electrical equipment maintenance.
  • Understanding the electrical units of measurement associated with in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Understanding how equipment construction and classification reduces the risk of electric shock.
  • Understanding the procedures for the in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Understanding how to carryout combined inspection and testing
  • Understanding the information contained in documentation for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment.

Qualification:

  • There is a 40-minute practical assessment to this course.
  • This course culminates in a 1 hour 45 minute, 50 question City & Guilds on line test leading to City & Guilds Certification if passed. Results are given immediately after the exam has been taken.
