Maintenance Awareness Course (EAL Certified) 

Duration: 5 Days; up to 8 people

Core skill sets covered:

• Introduction to safe working practices including Lock Off procedures, Pneumatics, lubrication, leaks, seals, gaskets, functionality checks, performance to specific conveyors, Belts, chains, bearings and good housekeeping
• Following the course, candidates will need to undertake preventative maintenance activities back in the work place to gain evidence for the unit qualification

Qualification

• EAL Level 1 NVQ Performing Engineering Operations Unit 117 – Carrying out routine servicing of Mechanical Equipment.
