Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships and Advanced Apprenticeships are funded through the Learning and Skills Council by the government and we are an approved Centre to deliver the qualifications on their behalf.

If you are looking to recruit, or have recently recruited a young person who wants to make a career in engineering or electrical, we are the people you can trust to train your employee through either the Apprenticeship or Advanced Apprenticeship routes. These qualifications are now available to all employees regardless of age..  The discipline you want the employee to follow determines the length of the apprenticeship and the level and type of qualifications they study.  They are available in Mechanical, Electrical and Fabrication and Welding and can be tailored to meet your requirements.

An Apprenticeship Framework will include:-

An Engineering or Electrical NVQ at Level 2
A Technical Certificate to underpin the NVQ
Key Skills at Level 1 or 2 in
Application of Number
Communication
Information Technology
Working with Others
Improving own Learning and Performance

An Advanced Apprenticeship Framework will include:-

An Engineering or Electrical NVQ at Level 2
An Engineering or Electrical NVQ at Level 3
A Technical Certificate at Level 3 to underpin the NVQ
Key Skills at Level  2 or 3 in

Working with Others
